Rubber wheels that push the train — common in stations and some boost hills.
Some zones use motorized tires pressing against the train to push it — station exits, small hills, or transport segments.
Tire drives depend on friction; wet or worn tires slip. They are loud but flexible for low-speed movement.
Do not confuse tire pushes with launches — power and duration differ, though both use friction at the guest level.
Family coasters and dark-ride hybrids use tire drives more than mega-coasters.
